When did Vermont Tubbs stop making snowshoes of wood and leather?
I have a pair of snow shoes in a tear drop shape marked Vermont Tubbs 12 x 48 S-9. I'm wondering if they are of any special value.
Tubbs of Vermont
Tubbs and Atlas are now sister companies. Both are made in China and NOT in the USA. It was roughly 10 years ago that they made this transition. Since then their retail presence has increased do to the fact they can spend much more $$ on advertising since they pay slave wages to have their product produced outside the USA.
Your shoes are of no special value other than above the fire place. Sorry.
