Default Looking for a moose hunter I met.

Two or three moose season back I was high up on the south side of a mountain and met a guy who was solo hunting the area for about a week or two. He has a cold camp and once a week he would come down to a buddle house have a shower and go back. If you are this guy or know of him, get a hold of me I have some information about an area you might be interested in for moose.

Ha, ha,ha,ha,ha, good try, I wish I had a point for you. J You need to answer a question that only you and I would know the answer to with out giving the location away.

    Pose the question!
Do I need to answer correctly or will a SWAG do?

You could also post a ad on Craigslist under Casual encounters.

    Akres:

Thank for the offer, I’m not looking for a moose hunting area. I have more spots than time and hunting partners. I use to hunt out of a cold camp, and hunt solo, its a hard way to hunt. He impress me and I wanted to give him a location he might find a moose.

    Rutting Moose,

New guy here asking for clarification. What is a "cold camp"? Thanks in advance.

Hell….. It’s a hunting camp with no fire except for cooking, and in some time cooking is not done. As I said “hell” when your cold and wet.

A nodwell 110 will haul 10,000 lbs of camp in and 4 moose out so yes they do make hot camps
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-----WOW-----what a ride!

On my Nodwell I have a 50 gal hot water tank for showers. The camp is cold at times, but you can't beat a hot shower out in the sticks after you finish with a moose.

In the old days I used to be able to kill a moose and walk home for a shower as it was only a couple miles......
