Yes definately. Works great but you must keep it at Rigby velocity, 400 grains at 2400 fps. Don't over drive the bullet.

    hi Murphy

I've got some 400 grain bullets by nosler, kodiak, hornady interbonds, and speer AGS sp. Which bullet would you use if you were going to run them at 2500-2550?

    Thanks

    Ahh...The Swift A-frame.

I think to select one of those four it would be a toss up between the Partition and the Kodiak. I've used them both in the 416 and both are good and about equal with most animals. Is the Speer the African GS, with the tungsten core? If not it would be less effective than the partition or the kodiak.

It would depend on the intended target. If I were restricted to just the Partition or the Kodiak and were hunting the great bears, I would load them to 2400 and use the Kodiak. I would not want impact velocity higher than 2450 for either bullet. The Partition would be the choice for higher velocity and try for broad side shots.

They are both just standard velocity bullets.
