BOG/BOF prop dead lines
This is a copy of an email from Sherry W. southcentral board support.
This is just a reminder that the Board of Fisheries and the Board of Game have both issued a Call for Proposals with deadlines in April as follows:
BOF will be taking finfish proposals on Prince William Sound, SE Alaska and Yakutat; King and tanner crab in SE and Yakutat management areas; dungeness crab, shrimp and miscellaneous shellfish fisheries statewide; and Pacific cod regulations for PWS (Reg Area E), Cook Inlet (Area H), Kodiak (Area K), Chignik (Area L), S. AK Peninsula (Area M) for parallel and state-waters P-cod seasons to address coordination of state / federal sector splits scheduled for implementation January 2012. Deadline to submit is April 8, 2011.
BOG will be tkaing proposals for the Arctic/Western; Interior; and Statewide Cycle B. Deadline to submit is April 29, 2011.
You can submit your proposals online from the Board's website (print off a copy for your records and keep track of the log number given, if you do this). If you submit your proposal online, and decide to also fax or mail a copy of the proposal to the Boards Support section, please include the log number given the proposal online, so that we will know it has already been data entered. That will be greatly appreciated and should avoid duplication of effort. Thanks for your cooperation.
The Board of Game is currently meeting on Southcentral issues and we are discussing the Kenai Peninsula proposals this morning. You can also listen to the Board meeting via the audio link, which is on the Boards website.
