I haven't been to Alaska in awhile, and last time I was there I was blessed with so much drab light that no amount of filtration could help.
I had little time to do much shooting anyhow since I was quite busy checking out the property, talking with the recording office etc. The time went so fast it was over before it began.
The shots I did get were all on film, and had to be scanned. I am rarely happy with my scanning ability. I did get some fairly decent transparency's on sensia and I'm including a few taken in Seward. I'm also including afew local shots just to prove I can get the job done.... sometimes!
I'm really looking forward to getting back up there and apply myself to all that is up there to photograph...

    later.....

Scanning from film does degrade the image, but even so the photo where there is a barn and a grassy field around it is a very nice one. It reminds me of some farms I have seen in Alaska, except that the trees in the photos are large.
