Default PIG PLEX Reticle, I like the Hog, but not words in my scope

I really like this scope, I do NOT own this scope, but I would if it did NOT say: PIG + PLEX
On the reticle. Hey, Leupold I would buy your HOG if you loose the Oinker on the reticle.

Then here you go, same scope with 3 different reticles to chose from. Having just mailed one of these back, I will warn you and say they are extremely short scopes. The scope was too short to mount on my Sako bases and they only come in 30mm. Other than that I liked the scope and wish I could have made it work on my Sako.

Yes, I have looked at that, but it is not the same reticle as the HOG.

I might have to go with this one: with the German #4 lighted reticle. It draws my eye to the center quickly.

I like the other one better and could live with the pig plex, the new ones have the illumination ring on the turretts instead of the eye piece.

You could always pony up a few more sheckels and get this one. Its only money and the world is going to end soon, so just put it on your credit card. I just spent the kids inheritance on one for my Sako, it is soooooo nice.

Jeez sorry Steve to read that VX-R didn't work out. It was so short that even an extended base setup wouldn't work?
I just went to your Leupy link and saw that the useable tube length was 5.4". I suppose short actions are ok and maybe long actions. But magnums just don't cut it. Too bad.
