    Default Glock 20

Any of you guys hunt deer with a 10mm?

I am looking hard at a Glock 20 for this purpose.

    Thoughts welcomed!

I almost took mine to Montague for that reason. But... Decided on the 454 casull instead cause of the bears. Maybe next time I go deer hunting in a less beary area I will bring it. I have no doubts it should work great.

Are you thinking of hunting whitetails with it? I havnt killed alot of whitetails but they sure do seam to be able to take a pounding and scamper off when they shoot them on those hunting shows.

I like my Glock. It is dang accurate. Im thinking of using it on black bear this year just like akrstbout did.

Itís 357 power and Glocks are dead shooters so I donít see why not, Iíd sure do it if I hunted down your way.

I took a couple of whitetail does with 180gr Speer Gold dot in a custom 1911 10mm back in michigan. Worked very well. Both were close shots 20-25 yards and both deer where on the ground within 30-40 yards. A good 180-200gr jacket soft point will work just as well as any 357 magnum.
