    Default Proxy Steel?

You can throw them my way and I'd be happy to throw them at some steel for you. Seriously nice ties though.

Sweet pic. If I am not mistaken, our own Gsmolt is the creator. Seems it said so on the AFFG site.

Nice looking fly and I got some just the other day myself at Mountain View. Heading to SE mid April. Can't wait. I have yet to catch a steelhead. Hoping to change that soon.

Yup, that's me. I have been throwing different iterations of that fly at steel for over a decade now.

I settled on the one that Riverborn ties for me about 5 years ago - the simplest version that produced the best results.

Nice Sikoh Princes in your pic too, Dan.

You might need to send me your address before your spring trip...I have a bunch of new prototype patterns to run through the paces.

Would be happy to test them out of course.

I will PM you my address.

Hey would you mind doing a step by step instruction of how you tied these? I have seen a couple other posts that you have done that way, was hoping maybe the Money Bug could be one of the next ones you do.

Tie in some sort of leg material. for this fly i used hollow tube ribbing. then take chinelle and wrap it thru the legs, once near the bead pull front legs back and make 2 very tight wraps with chinelle, tie off chinelle, trim excess whip finish and cement.
