But, Camo ones are cool Okay I'm kidding before anyone drives by my house and shoots it up.
Just back back from the range zeroing the scope on my new Remington VTR in .223. Sure was nice to shoot a M-16 style rifle without the military supervising me. This was the first time I have fired one since I retired and I had a blast. Them old predators better be on the look out!!! Zeroed it at 200 yards and then started busting clays on the 300 yards bank at Cushman range today.
I can see how someone could go through some serious rounds with one of these, it was awesome. I have been shooting some magnums lately and that little love tap recoil sure was pleasant.
Not so sure I like the trigger, seemed just a touch heavy and had some creep. Anyone recommend a fix for the trigger???? I know we have some AR experts on here.
Again, was only kidding and I like the blacks one too.
200 yards group, not too bad for a 18inch barrel carbine.
