    Default Found - male Chesapeake

There's a brown, male Chesapeake at the Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Shelter. He's approx. 3 years old, wearing a greenish camo collar, was picked up in the North Pole area on Feb. 25th, is apparently not microchipped, and the owner hasn't contacted the shelter yet. If you know of anyone missing a Chessie or are interested in him, please call the shelter at 459-1451. The dog's ID # is A083053.

excellent! I hope people start getting ILP on these dogs and compete - most clubs will let unregistered/mix dogs in the picnic trials. We have been training with a husky/lab mix that is retrieving birds with great enthusiasm and the owner is getting hooked on the sport too! More hands to throw birds is not a bad thing.
