Default suggestions for a lure starter kit?

gonna try for some rainbows and char. Usually I just use bait. thinking about using jigs this time as well.
What are some good ones to get and where is the best place to find them?

Try to Google a couple of these guys: Swedish Pimple, Kastmaster spoons, Rat Finkee, Shrimpo, Ratso.

I've also had luck with Berkley Powerbait "Trout Nuggets" as well as salmon eggs and raw shrimp.

I have had good luck with a small white glowing jig head tipped with a white Gulp Alive twister tail.

Go to jig this year has been the berkley realistix minnow in 4 inch and the grey/black colors. We use gamakatsu jigheads though.

If you are using light enough line or fishing the jig under a dodger, a weighted egg sucking leech or weighted woolybugger works great as well.

i use a krocodile spoon with a red prism sticker on one side. i get it to do kind of a death roll after i jig it and it spins on the way back down. if there are big char or rainbows by they usually hit it. i rarely use anything else now except "ole red" it drives char nuts.

well I put together a little grab bag. Best thing of the day was a jiggin rappala tipped with a little fake white grub. Fishing overall was pretty slow.
