Default Want to buy land or cabin for fishing and hunting

    I live in California.
Looking at buying a piece of land in Alaska.
Does not have to be big. Even better if it has a cabin.
    Or I can built it.

Location: south east Alaska or near the salt water.
    I fish and hunt.

That would be for the summer months.
I like the land to be close to the water to dock a small boat.

    Any inputs would be appreciated

When you are looking for land with or without a cabin, keep in mind that a good majority of places you will find do not and most likely never will have any kind of road access. If you are looking along the coastline, you will need to have either a decent boat or plane to get you there from the closest hub city/town. It is not uncommon for people from out of state who don't have the ability to check out places ahead of time to purchase a place sight-unseen only to find out they have no means to access it. Just make sure you have that aspect covered. Good luck.

Check and see if there is anything in the land auction that interest you.

Also you should cross reference the location of the land with the local fishing and hunting regulations.

    Good luck
It ain't about the # of pounds of meat we bring back, nor about how much we spent to go do it. Its about seeing what no one else sees.
