Outstanding! Great looking wolf. There have been several taken on the Kenai this year that are lice free. This one looks pretty good too. Any lice?

According to the biologists it is a lice infestation. Have seen wolfs that looked so mangy you feel sorry for them. This has been an ongoing problem on the peninsula for around thirty years and it made wolf hunting/trapping less desirable. But it seems there are now some small packs that are lice free and once again a beautiful wolf pelt is possible on the Kenai.
