Default help remove a mauser barrel?

Anyone in Anchorage have a Mauser barrel wrench and vise? If so, could you help me remove a barrel today so that I can mail a receiver without the worn out barrel attached? I'll drive to your place. Thanks.

Call Stan Jackson 349-3854 or 250-0252. He's an Anchorage gun-smith and he has what you need. Not sure if he is working on Sunday these days, but worth a try. His rates have always been reasonable in the 20 years I have used his services.

Thanks, but Stan and Vince are closed today. I thought maybe a member might be able to help me out. I was hoping to get started today with the receiver inlett finish fit.

I have been building stocks for a very long time... Do not start inletting until you have the entire barreled action to work with... It will save you grief...
