Fishing the West.... bar none, the best fishing show to EVER grace the airwaves.

Nothing out there today even comes close.

Larry Schoenborn a PNW icon, a legend in every sense of the word.

Yes, he will be missed.... but he will ALWAYS be remembered fondly by the masses.

Condolences and blessings upon Ethel and the rest of the family.

I remember that show very well. In fact, the bumper music is still stuck in my head!!! Somewhere around here I think I probably still have a VHS tape or two of it. The show was quite an accomplishment in its day. Exciting, energetic, just really great. Sorry to hear this news...

Sad day. RIP Larry, thanks giving me that urge to fish during every show. I remember growing up watching him Saturday morning with Dad was clockwork, sorta like the Lone Ranger. wasn't he on Saturdays? so the memory isn't that good...

When I was a young man I had the opportunity to work with Larry at our lodge in Southeast Alaska. This is truly sad news, I wish his family all the best.
