    Temperatures:

Temps have continued to be in the mid 20's as the highs, but finally increased to 33 F by late Tuesday afternoon. Lows have increased to the mid 20's now.

Snow Depth At Landing Parking Lot:

After receiving 8" plus at the beginning of last week we went a few days with no snow. Some snow/sleet started on Monday night, but as of Tuesday morning it is less than half an inch. By 5:30 pm Tuesday we had around 5", but some drizzle and sleet were compacting the snow making it wet and heavy.

    Trail Conditions:

2/1 Trails are hard and bumpy, with the worst stretch from the Landing to the Deshka River. Adam G. reports about 6" of new snow at Yentna Station as of early Tuesday morning. Conditions were near whiteout heading up the Yentna. A few guys came in and let us know it wasn't too fun out there due to the flat light, whiteout at times, and the amount of snow covering up the pack trails. Two guys came in from Big Lake off the river and decided to head back taking the highway because things were very fun out there.
