    Anyone know first hand how much snow is on the deck at Bird Creek?

    Nearly none............maybe 2" at sea level. It was brown and bare yesterday.

    One more question, Sir...Would you know if the the creeks are iced over? Im guessing not, but in Alaska nothing is normal..

    That's true at the mouth. But, at the parking lot trail head and on up the valley, I'd say a bit over a foot of hardpack/ice with 3" of new wet snow this past Sunday. Enough to easily ride my snogo the 5 miles back up the valley that you are allow to go motorized.

    I drove up Saturday to see first hand..There was a lot of fresh snow..So I returned Sunday and hiked up into the high valley...Lots of snow..lots of rain and lots of ice..thnx for the replies gentlemen..
