    Default Fairbanks/North Pole Marine Mechanics?

Anyone have some suggestions/experience with marine mechanics in North Pole or the Fairbanks area. I may need to have a 45 hp outboard rebuilt on the top end.

Feel free to PM for the sake of someone's reputation.

    Thanks

The best mechanics in Fairbanks are at the Boat Shop, their prices are reasonable, their honest, and they know what their doing,I have had them do some complex work on outboards and never had to take anything back.

Reeds is closed for the winter, undetermined reopen date if at all. Their yard is empty, no tracks, no boats, no snowmachines. He may be done with all that.

Gee Oz, why don't you buy Reed out and go into the boat business. It can't pay less than the airline business does, and had to be way more fun!
Come on man, dive in. I'll even come buy a spark plug or something.

The guys at the boat shop have always treated me fair and have done good work.

When do any of the marine shops open for spring work? I have called numerous shops and all I get is answering machines. I just got my rig last summer so not sure on season's for boat work.
