6 miles from Twin Bears they will cross Chena Hot Springs road. You will be able to tell where this is because when a musher is expected, there will be crossing gaurds posted there. They'll be parked along side the road and will set out signs as the mushers are expected. The trail runs parallel to the road past Two Rivers store and turns to run down Pleasant Valley road. They cut off into that subdivision back there then they parallel Nordale Road for a short distance to the Little Chena River, then down the Little Chena to itís confluence with the Chena River. Then they go on the Chena River all the way to the finish. They will cross under the Nordale Road Bridge as it crosses over the Chena.

I hear that the crews/volunteers and Vet teams are assembling in Fairbanks and are getting ready for the trip to Whitehorse and the race start.

Have a great race everyone! We will be watching via the internet

And a big Thank You to my dear friend, Head Vet, Alan Hallman for taking the time off your own practice to volunteer. Those dogs are in good hands!
