    Default The Fun part

I have questioned my sanity many times, and have wondered why I do this at my age. Getting there sucks most of the time, But... I go back again and again.

Ahhh! I know the rock!!! Take a sit-down break, get bug dope on, then lean forward working down the ravine with a full head of steam ... swear and grunt tangled in alder... take a beating until ya crack yourself up laughing.

    Default Rookie broke in

My friend Matt on his first huck into Sheep, and this was shot an hour after he said "this is not so bad" and of course we laughed knowing what was ahead. So Brian does this picture bring back memories?
First week of June we return for more...

    Default Granite Creek

Only slightly easier than Sheep, but not by much. Between the alder patches does not seem so bad, but don't be fooled, these hucks hurt the body, mind, and dampens your mood if your not prepared. A pack raft does make these hucks a bit easier, but at any rate, crappy hikes are talked about for years, sometimes more than the river itself. lol

    Default Fun at Kings access

This fun adventure comes in two stages, a 10-12 mile ride, or hike, and then it's another mile down the gully to the river.

    Default Family fun

Some coupons and Lionshead at high water, led to an invite for the family to go on a trip with Chuck's boys. My oldest daughter's facial expression in the front of the raft explains the moment. lol
