    Default canopy replacement in anchorage

Anyone get a soft top canopy replaced or made in anchorage, and which shop did you use? I see a couple upholstery shops in the phone book.

I used Fine Line Interiors quite a few years ago and was very happy with their work.

I'll second Silver Streak, and during the boat shows, he normally gives a 10% discount. Ben uses good materials and builds a tight sturdy top.

Do I give my friends advice? Jesus, no. They wouldn't take advice from me. Nobody should take advice from me. I haven't got a clue about anything..

Awesome, I called silver streak and they told me it would be difficult to get a new canopy made for the boat if I send in the old canopy since I'm out in the bush. I called C/W in Idaho and he told me he doesn't sell blanks, that each one is custom fitted to each boat so I guess there is more to getting a new canopy then I originally thought.

Call Busterís Professional Upholstery, he may be able to get it done using your old top.

Check out www.letastopshop.com. I'm gonna order a cruise curtain from them this summer.

I used Busters to make a cover on my boat. He gave me a quote, and it turned into more work than he expected, but he still stuck to the quote and did an excellent job. They also scheduled it so they could get it done during the day and I did not have to leave my boat there overnight. I would use them again for my next job without question.

Howling Storm LLC in the Valley did some repair work (vinyl, zippers, and buttons) for me a while back and did a great job. http://howlingstorm.com/

I've just got a little Sea Runner (Bowrider) that I need a new bow cover for. Does anyone here know what a "ball park" price from something small like that would cost?

I'm thinking 1300-1500 depending on if you want a drop curtain or not.
