    I don't see any difference between it and old GI shovels, except the saw.

    Wow, they didn't miss a trick, did they? I'm impressed with the cutting and sawing edges, not to mention the wire cutters. And it'll open your beer! What'd not to like?

    I wanted to know if they come with English instructions since when you but "american" made stuff it comes with instructions in chinese.

    It actualy looks like a lot better quality than many folding shovels.
    My main purpose for buying one would be the Shield,. The way he held off those attackers with the shovel in shield mode, made me feel I could use it like that during a bear attack..
    The cutters and knife edge and saw looked pretty good..
    cutting up those onions and taters like that would be kinda handy, especially after you used the shovel to clean up around the latrine hole.
    Where can you get them?
