they just called me back and changed there mind on shipping to Alaska and wanted a $107.00 for shipping. Thats doing business in good old Texas, not ever what they say at first.
Hell,,,there trying to protect their re-sellers.
Bend over like the rest of us and smile. Ha!
Doc, I hope thats the nurse's hands on my shoulders!
Batteries plus has the Odyssey line in stock for pretty good prices. I'd never even consider buying an old school battery like a Gill.
Hi Mr. Pid, I looked at the odyssey site , which model would you use for a 180? and is it just a 337 to put it in? Thanks Tom
Mine's a PC625 mounted in a box on the firewall, field approved. I'm pretty sure Burl's or Atlee's has a box and STC to do the same using the SBSJ battery. That battery is PMA'd for Supercubs and is what gets put under a Cub pilot's seat with Atlee's or Dan's tray STC. If you get rid of a 180/185's rear battery and replace it with an Odyssey on the firewall your plane will lose 16-17#.
Pid...I'm having trouble comparing these two per their output/capacities:
