I think that boat would make navigating the delta a lot easier, If you needed to go back to town to get something you forgot it would be a blast.

I only watched the 1st one cause of my slow mta internet but I've never seen a jetboat perform like that holy crap! There wasn't even any cavitation on those tight corners. Oh and the pilot was awesome, he must have had a stick theres no way you could do that w/ a wheel

I actually met this guy at the Seattle boat show last Saturday. This is like drag racing in that they travel all over doing these races.

What would you guys think about getting the worlds marathon championship races up here? I've had some friends ask me about it who are somewhat involved in the planning, sounds like their getting tired of the same old rivers year in and year out...

I'll tell you the boat is small and less room for the driver. Made for a short fella....

no stick they use very fast helms that are like 1/4 turn lock to lock
you would kill yourself with a stick in this kind of boat
we use a hulm we build in house and it is about a 1/3 turn lock to lock not as fast but still nice in the tight small creeks
i will try and find a pic to post

here are a cpl pix of a fast lock to lock set we use
this can be set up for just about any jet pump
and for right or left hand drive with 3" or 4" travel cable
