Smile Question about the 40 mile caribou herd!

I am headed to Fairbanks to hunt in zone 1 and was curious if anyone has seen any caribou or if there are any good places to go? I am female and new to hunting up there any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

My neighbor was up there yesterday and today to give it a go. It was between 30 and 40 below though. They went in a little ways on sleds, but didn't get too far due to the extreme cold. Be careful up there.

It's very cold and the 'bou are scarce. If you don't have a snow machine you aren't going to see any huntable caribou.

Wait a week if you can, next weekend is supposed to be warmer and fresh snow.

Keep an eye on the weather forcast at www.newsminer.com look at there long range forcast. ( they are only right 50% of the time tho, lol) it might give you an idea.
