Default 30/06 165 Nosler Accubond Loads

I have always had good success with 180 grain Partitions, but am wanting to try the accubonds for a deer, sheep, goat, " longer " range load...

...Any body got any pet recipes or some valuable information on this combo?

I was looking at using reloader 22 and maybe imr 4350, would like to find an accurate load that could get me at least 2800 FPS out of a 22" tube.

I don't know about 30 06, I tried 180 gr accubonds in my 300 wm with at least 4 different powders and all the recommended loads associated in the manual. I didn't get the accuracy I was looking for. I have had good luck with the barns tripple shock and IMR 4350, best I can say is try and work up a load that rifle likes. good luck and if you get good results please post so I can try with my 06

    I shoot 2 30/06's (Rem 700 22" factory barrels) and 3 30/06 Ackley Improved (1 custom Lilja barrel and 2 Rem 700 factory 22" barrels). I shoot the following:
    #1-30/06 Rem 700 22" factory barrel- 61grs H4831 165gr Nosler Accubond, Federal 210M primer, seated .025" off lands, 2860 fps
#2 30/06 Rem 700 22" factory Mt Rifle Barrel- 61grs H4831 SC 165gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, Fed 210M primer, seated .040" off lands, 2825 fps

All of the 30/06 Ackley's shoot either 165gr Nosler Accubonds or Ballistic tips with the same amount of H4831 (63grs) getting in the mid to upper 2900fps range. Good luck.

56 grains of IMR 4350 and a R-P case has been a pet recipe of mine for many 30-06''s and 165's. I dont think you will get 2800 out of it with a 22" tube though. More than likely, 2700 fps.
