Default Taking antlers to the lower 48

How does one go about taking a 50" moose rack on an airplane? Do the points have to be taped? Does the skull have to be fleshed, cleaned etc... What are the rules for flying back a rack?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Thanks. I didn't think about looking at AK Air's website.

Where do you get a polyethylene bag that's 50-60" wide? Is that a fancy term for a black garbage or a contractor bag?

I took some friends from the lower 48 hunting this last season. We found out Alaska Airlines charges extra money just because they are horns.

However if you put them in a box and just ship it as regualr cargo you can save a little.
