    Default Marine Surveyor in Anchorage

I found a boat that I am interested in buying but I want to get a survey done on it. Can anyone point me to a good one in Anchorage? The other problem is that the boat is outside and full of ice/snow. Any ideas on a place to take a 30 ft boat to warm it up and then have the surveror take a look? Thinking right now that I would probably have to have Dewey's or ? Put it in a shop so the motors can be run and the survey could be done.

I used Madar Marine out of Palmer for two of the boats I've bought over the last two years. He'll come down to Anchorage at no extra charge and is a great guy. Unfortunately I don't have an idea on where to thaw it out and run it. Hopefully someone will sign in and help you out.

Just used Mike Madar on recommendation from this group. Did a good job.
