    Default Finger Lake Wasilla

Left Church around noon and decided to fish the Island just out from the Elks lodge. Kids got a few small ones (6to7inches) and I hooked a nice 15 incher. Most bites came just at dark due to the weather front and the ice was so clear you could see every surface shadow. Better day for ice skatin than fishing but still felt good to get out with the kiddos. Well try it again when we get a dusting of snow and cooler temps.

Fished the same area friday, middle of the day. Puddles of water here and there, enough that the kids got soaked after a couple of hours so we didn't stay long. We only picked up one little rainbow, but for the first time on the ice this year I was content.
