I went in on New Year's day and we were able to get to the first braid of the Susitna but the trail ended there. Couldn't get any further West.

Thanks, any other options? I'm new to that area, I wanting to get south of Parker lake without going down Oilwell road. Thanks for a reply from someone.

The best way is to go in at 82.5 Susitna Landing. I've heard all those trails are groomed and ready to go.

    Thumbs up Junior!!!!

If you go in from SU Landing you need to talk to Junior at Neil Lake Lodge!
He lived there for forever and know all that area like the back of his hand. Gas, Food a place to stay and the best trail info for the area!

    Trail Boss,
Do you know if Mile 89 is open to the Neil Lake trail yet? We have friends with a cabin out there we'd like to visit.

Parker Lake Trail is groomed from Parker Lake to Oil
Well Road. I am sure the trail is open from Parker Lake to Neil Lake but need to check with Junior at Neil to be sure.
