Norma .38 cal - .357 diam. INDEX NO 559 158grs? .357 Rem Mag Question...
I found a box of bullets in a bunch of reloading stuff I picked up used. Guessing just over 80 in the box and it says:
Norma .38 cal - .357 diam. INDEX NO 559, 158 GRAINS - 10.2 GRAMS LEAD ROUND NOSE
They were purchased at WARSHAL'S for $2.60.. : )
Planning to work up a load for my .357 Mag Revolver with H110. Does anyone know anything about these bullets?
I plan to go with something like the 158 GR. HDY XTPs when I run out these. According to Hodgon's website starting loads are ~15grs of H110 for the XTPs.
Should I go a grain lower for safety's sake on the Normas? Or are the bullets close enough to go ahead with the suggested start load of 15grs?
Any info would be appreciated.
They should be close enough for a starting load.
