Guys fishing at lower skilak down at the outlet of lower kenai river.
a few days after christmas their were about a dozen bodies and a a good sized ice tent set up.
sno-go's have been going on the lake to Caribou island cabins.
not sure the depth,.. one pressure ridge about 200 yds out from the lower boat launch, so ice is getting some depth pretty fast.
about 3 inches of snow on it as of wednesday, with about 3 more from yesterdays snow.
don't know how fishing has been, but a few out there on the ice trying.
When you come to a fork in the trail, take it!
