    Default Southeast Season Finale

So what's everyone's plans for the last few days of the season?

I haven't made my mind up if I want to hit the marsh or chase some sea ducks...

I wish I had that problem. I wish our season up here in Anchorage lasted as long as yours.

I hear ya, but it's a give and take... You have a road out of there, lower cost of living, less tree hugging hippies, etc

I'll stand behind my comment with confidence. Per capita, Juneau is pretty well infested and the reason is because it's the capitol. If the capitol moves, they will follow it.

I've decided to hunt the salt for whatever may swing by. Pulled out my snow camo, so hopefully the birds are in the vicinity.

Had a fun hunt today. I took a neighbor kid out and we sat in the snow on some dekes. I had him do most of the shooting. He shot a nice mature drake mallard. I got a hen teal

Here's a video of him shooting holes in the sky

    Here's my teal:

All in all it was a good day, but I wish it was snowing intsead of raining. It would have been lights out.
