    Default Christmas Greeting

    MERRY CHRISTMAS toooo. Ever'Body.

Those of you who've helped me, answered my questions, and even those who took me to task. I ALSO, include those who have just put up with me.

AOD Forums, the ones I frequent, have been informative, helpful, and entertaining, with no lingering MINUSES and Plenty PLUSES.

Imma better shooter, hunter, and I'm gittin more civil with each visit. I HOPE.

    Remember,,,,,

Merry Christmas to all! And a big thank you to all for your assistance, unbiased (or as close to as you can come) opinion and all the stories.

Yup! Jesus is the reason for the season! I din't figure He wouldn't mind if I made a quick run for a coyote this morning before breakfast figuring we'd celebrate His birthday the rest of the day and even read the Christmas story out of the Bible as has become custom at my house.

God has a sense of humor and I'm proof! I took my city slicker 9 year old grandson along this morning and he got to watch grandpa shoot 5 times at a coyote at 100-300 yards, get back in the truck drive a mile across the country side to get ahead of the coyote again and shoot at him 5 more times this time from 40 yards until the gun was empty. God's smiling thinking well I gave ya two easy chances and ya blew it both times..... My grandson was less than impressed!

Merry CRISTmas to all of you guys and thanks for puttin up with me......this forum is truely my stress relief and you have learned me much as well!

    EKC

PS I did get a beeg yote kilt with the thutty thutty yesterday.....pictures soon!

What did a Crack Shot like you use on that Coyotie?

He didn't look too Blown-Up, but maybe he WAS on the INSIDE.

30-30 with a hard cast 118 grain gas checked bullet on top of some Reloader7. Prolly running about 2200fps which is way faster than a coyote can run. It just kinda poked a hole through him where his neck hooked to his shoulders.

Well done Smitty! I too, appreciate all the friendship, advice, and good fun on this forum!
Nice, EKC - I see you took the "collar" off before taking the picture - good move! Nice lookin family!!!
I missed a doe at 38 yards in heavy snow Friday evening - I didn't think she would jump the string in the snow as it would muffle my shot - but she sure did! Looked like a Kangaroo when I let that puppy fly! Good news was I didn't have to clean it!!!
