    Default Anyone ever send a scope back to Zeiss?

    I don't have any problem with my scopes but I am curious after reading the Leupold return thread. Has anyone sent a scope back to Zeiss for repair? How was their service?

    I sent a pair of Zeiss binos back to them after I took them for a swim twice. One tube fogged up after the raft drug me into deep water.
    Absolutely great service, they even offered to ship me a loaner pair for a upcoming hunt. I ended up getting a replacement pair back and did not need the loaners. Great service and replaced for free and they were several years old.

    What do you think LuJon, maybe nobody has problems with their Zeiss scopes? Or maybe there are alot more Leupold scopes out there being used and sometimes abused. I haven't sent any of my Leupolds back, fortunately, but know two friends have sent back Leupolds they had bought used, and the same great service as mentioned in the Leupold thread.
