    Default Another fox

With all the wind blowing the snow and the severe cold temp.. trying to pattern their movement has been tough this year. I picked up this nice red with a touch of cross in it Christmas eve morning..

Checked a few sets this afternoon, Had my first cross fox at my second set of snares... on my way to my 3rd set I blew a front left tire I think the bead on my quad popped, so I limped back home.. Will check the rest tomorrow.. With the snow comming and warmer temps, the dogs should be moving tonight..

    Default fox

I was busy watching a raven try to figure out what my decoy was, when she came trotting in at about 25 yards.

Picked up a few more red fox in the past week with only a couple snares out on travel routes.. due to lack of snow.. So I changed it up due to the cold weather and lack of snow and started making beaver sets. Caught 2 on the first night and 3 more the next.
