Not far off. I don't think that is the Kenai unless it is a back channel somewhere. The water color is right on but it is too small for the Kenai, but like I said, it is probably a back channel. Most Kenai fishermen will put a "twitch" at the end of the drift. I have seen some beauty "Kenai Twitches" over the years!

    Default Hook setting

Looks like the guy needs to learn how to set the hook...

Looks like just downstream from the Russian confluence...I believe thats the island across the channel from him.

Noticed that he kept on fishing after the guy upstream hooked one and it jumped right next to him. Not a good way to make friends....

For some odd reason I thought there was going to be a bed in this video... Silly me.

But Hippie your right the is the conflunece. The Island is right across from where he was fishing.

Great Video. Now you might want to invest in a hook sharpner

probably right about the island but I have never seen it with that much room for one person, it is usually crowded.

Why is it so hard to get our wives and/or girlfriends to come fishing with us and video these types of fun exploits?

I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
