    Default Fig 8....

    It was a cold day to go to Fig 8 yesterday, but we did. Probably -10 when we left the trucks, but a bit warmer at the lake, above 0 I'd guess. Fishing was pretty decent since we only got in about 3 1/2 hours. Caught a dozen or so pike and lost several more. No size to any of them. Maybe a few over 25" and that's it. The average size in that lake has gone waaaaay down in the last couple of years. There are still some pike in there, but there must be a reason all the other guys in the parking lot went to Flathorn and we didn't...

    If you are planning on going out that way, leave the sled at home. There is more glare ice out there than I have ever seen. One of our sleds kept overheating on the way in and took a long time to get in.

    very nice..... I am trying to find new lakes to explore and have heard of figure 8... can you tell me where it is?? thank you much.

    Sounds like fun. Anyone know how long the trail is to the lake??

    It takes about 30 to 40 mins to get to the lake.
    Has anyone heard how flathorn is doing?
