    Default WWG Saved My Bottom

I took apart my Remmie 700 to install the Jewell trigger and add weight to the stock. During this time the magazine shell (the formed metal thingie between the receiver and bottom metal), decided to grow legs and walk off.

I was going to order from Numrich in New York, but HEY! I remembered a post on here where it was stated WWG is a repair station for Remmie. I called and PRESTO! a stainless magazine shell for a 700 stainless 300 RUM was available. At twice the price, but then I save time since it's in Anch instead of New York.

    Kewl.

Kudo's to them for having the item in stock.
Brownells also sells Remington parts and they are about the fastest shipping online company I have ever seen. More than once I called in an order and it is on my door step 2 business days later, shipped via USPS.

I have experienced the same thing with Brownells and am still trying to figure out how they get USPS to expedite their packages to Alaska?

One reason is that they get your order out the door IMMEDIATELY.

Another reason using USPS is so quick is that depending on the type of shipping (I think USPS Priority does it), the package rides in on a FedEx plane (FedEx's has a huge US Mail contract). I request USPS shipping over UPS if I can get it because of that.
