I don't know, I'd say he is just a little bit shy of 18". Isn't is less than 18" you gotta let em go by? Or maybe it's 16". I gotta go check the regs.

Let it grow, might make the books someday. It's called Quality Hare Management, ethical thing to do.

Given how big the ears are in relation to the head and the amount of space inbetween his belly and the ground...I would put him at 2-3 years old. He'll be a gooden in another couple of years!!

In an any rabbit area yes, but with ear restrictions you might hold off on this one

No, it's not a true albino. Just a color phase. Albinos have pink eyes not black. I call it a shooter. Watch it squat when it urinates. The females often leave a little blood.

    Low Bush Moose!!!
Not only legal, but one heck of a trophy. I'd judge him to be a four footer.

    NO!!!!!! Don't shoot!!!!

The animal is clearly being chased by a snowmachine or MHAV (Motorized Hare Attack Vehicle)

If you use photoshop you can clearly see the polaris heading off any escape. Closer scrutiny reveals audio that is truly disturbing. A muted screech is amplified into a muffled horror of leporidae mutilation.

Suddenly a silence lays across the snow.

    Then 323 farts.

Well, size wise he looks to be a little small. Do you have a front shot? Plus, the background in the photo is very blurry and I can't tell if that is snow or the horizon. I would have to say I would probably hold the shot because from the photo it appears that it could be on a ridge line and there is no telling how far the scatter from the gun would go. There could be another hunter, a hiker, snowmachiner or even a moose standing just beyond the ridge line! I think it would be best to pass on it, and if you did take it, I would not post a story or picture on the forum. Way too much risk.

I have to go with the fact the ears look a bit large compared to the head so it is a little small and I would pass plus the fact it appears to be skylined on a ridge would cause me to not take the shot.
