    Default GMU 20A RM764 questions

Got some questions about RM764...Why is Ferry Trail Management area listed as a hunt area for this hunt if you can only take a 'bou in that area? How accessible is the majority of the hunting area (ie how far of the roads am I gonna have to get to actually have success and would it be best to use machines or can I go at in on foot without hiking miles upon miles in the snow)? Lastly, what kinda of lodging is available in the area? I can and have winter camped, just not thrilled with the idea.

Ferry area used to be open but the zone is not this year due to management objectives being met. Rochester lodge is at the rex trail. 582-2354 You will need to go in on wheeler or snowmachine and will have to go at least 35? miles to the nearest hunt boundary. I have no experience with zone 7.

Not sure if our trips count as hunts or adventures in the Northland?
