Default Expedition Kayaker Killed By Croc

A kayaker on a tributary to the Congo was recently killed by a croc. Kinda makes floating past brown bears seem pretty tame.

I see brown bear or croc up close it's time to paddle not float!

That's because floating past brown bears IS tame. The bears are interested in fish and berries and generally (but not always) just run away when they see people. I'd be more concerned about dogs off leash in a public park than bears on a river.
