Smile Trail Report W.P.C. Willow AK. 12/8/10

    Lots going on in Willow!!!
Starting with, the Willow Trail Comm. has logged over 390 fleet miles this week grooming and marking trails from the Iron Dog both the Big Swamp and Trail 6 from Big Lake side. So the SVWT is in from there all the way where we meet with Mid-Valley on the Deshka River X-over. Almost all the trails have been groomed. NOTE : Nancy State Park is still closed for general rideing. There is over 12 inches of snow, temps in the range of 0 to 14. Trails are smoothing out with last Fri. snow.
    Now on to the rivers!
With the Deshka River X-over in it is a quick run to the Deshka! And the Su is being access from Big Lake from the Fish Creek trail. And from Willow from Deshka Landing, Corral Hill trail, And Rolly Creek trail useing the Bypass. Little snow on the rivers till you get passed Luce's on the Yentna.
    Be safe out there!
Have curret tags on your rigs! Stay off Private Property!
Hope to see you on the trails in Willow!!!

Scratchers work awesome. You can get a set online for about $40-.
I run the same track as posted above and they make a world of difference!

If you can find the new cable style from "Slidekicks" they are great. You don't have to worry about bending them up if you forget about them when you unload or back up. You can replace the tips if they get worn down too...
