Default wild Turkeys in Peters Creek.

Was out at a job today in peters creek. I pull up to customers house and there was about 30 turkeys in it. They werent afraid of me really so I figured they were domestic. I talked to the customer about them and he says they have been around for years. He says they frequent the neighborhood alot. At first there were just a few but they have been doing good over the years. For some reason He thinks they came from FT. Rich. Wish I would have got some pics. They looked like a Miriams turkey. Only saw one full grown Tom. I think the rest were Hens.

I've seem them several times over the last few years. Saw them this early fall.....several toms then. Every time I have seen them they have been on private property for those getting ideas.

Turkey tastes great and is more than just a Thanksgiving meal, love samiches of em at lunch. Neat to know they are wandering around up there, I will keep my eyes open when we get up there. They are all over Ohio and fun to watch and track.
