    Default Eagle River trails

My wife would like to know if there any groomed trails in the Eagle River area suitable for skate skiing. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Both high schools (Chugiak and Eagle River High) have groomed trail systems that lead out from their parking areas. Chugiak HS has a longer system, but both should be in skate ski condition.

Hi THe highschool in Eagle River has groomed trails, I think about 5km. Anyone can use these trails. Beach Lake (north off the South Birchwood exit) has lots of groomed trails. They are very nice and have lighted trails so you can see at night.

As the others have said, there are some great trails in Eagle River, the best being at Chugiak. There are also some great trails at Bartlett High School that wouldn't be that far away (maybe about as far as Chugiak depending on where in Eagle River you are starting from).

I think that your wife should consider Kincaid Park. Has she ever been out there?
