    Default cannon eos rebel xsi

    does anyone know what the best setting would be to take pics of the northern lights. I can't find the book and have very limited knowledge of the camera. Any help would be appreciated

    Default HI ISO+HI fSTOP+SLOW SHUTTER...

    That'll be just right...& don't fergit yer Raw...& use a remote switch if you 'ave one, & mirror lock up to get a very sharp image...

    hey I used to fly into marshall when I worked at yute air in 96, I always loved the trip between russian mission and marshall, it is very beautiful in your neck of the woods, sorry- just had to mention it

    I forgot to mention the tripod (any shot on slow shutter, it's a givin' that you need a tripod), & the above link gives you more indepth tutorial...
