Thread: Calling Location

    Default Calling Location

Just wondering what some of you veteran predator callers are looking for when selecting a place to call from. Obviously sign is important, I understand that. And of course presence of prey like snowshoe hare, rodents etc. But what I was wondering about specifically is the details. Things like the terrain, the habitat, and the topography. I am new to predator hunting. Thanks for the advice.

the most important thing is to get out remote as possible. the less humans running around were you hunt the better. you can still call stuff in from high traffic areas, its just a lot harder. also river/creek bottoms are great places to try.(more so for dog critters).
