    Default Winter reading

I went to the library the other day to check out the book, "A Land Gone Lonesome." I did, and couldn't get into it. But I also grabbed a book titled, "New York to Nome." It was about a 1936 canoe trip from the Hudson through the Great Lakes and down the Mackenzie. Following the old voyager route. Then hopping over the Richardson Mountains to Bell river and onto the Porcupine and Yukon.

    Pretty good read.
