Fellow Scatter Gunners: I plan to do waterfowl hunting near Homer next season. Do any of you veteran duck slayers have any advice on what locations might be good and what is required to access the location(s). For example, I have heard some spots in the area require some serious wader walking while carefully trying not to sink out of sight before the fun can even begin. Been wanting to hunt ducks in the area for years and I ain't agettn' any younger. Some age advice would be appreciated.

..I meant to say, "sage" advice, not age advice.

I hunt down there with Buck Brown of Seldovia Hunting Charters. Guided hunts and Great Shooting. Prices are fair and you will learn alot. Salt water hunting is a whole new deal and tides are important as well as set up and duck retrievable. Give Buck a call. Duckdon
