Default Just a few catches for 2010

This little guy was caught on a bait pile. Blind snare in his trail where he had been running.

The snare was located within the "triangle" minus the stick you see laying on the ground....

Caught a beautiful female coyote also on a bait pile with a blind snare set on a large drag (huge fallen tree). This just goes to show you that you don't necessarily need a tree to tie off to...if you can find a large dead fall you can move it to the area you need it in.

This just happened to be hubby setting up the snare in a trail where dogs had been running back and forth. The trail is directly in front of him. Exact set that the coyote was caught in.

This was a lucky catch. One toe in the snare! (The snare was set for fox)

Cool pics. My dog finally got caught in a snare this weekend. Luckily, no spring thingy to keept tight. She sat and waited for us to free her. I think she is a smart dog, besides going for the bait! Didn't fight it and was almost like she not too.

Keep the cool pics coming. I am and a buddy is starting to get an itch for trapping or alteast predator hunting more seriously.

Yea sharks, I'm not looking forward to resetting everything in the next day or so. However! I am glad I went out there and braved the elements today. That yote would have been gone.

Nice K9's. I hope neither of you received a fresh dosage of K9 urine during the dispatch.

    Thanks for sharing.

Otterman, I know the feeling! We have been running ours with the 4 wheelers....I don't even think I'm going to attempt it today in this downpour.

Huntress, you are the perfect Alaskan woman. It's great to see positive role models are still out there.
I show your posts to my GF all the time, and this one she was blown away by.
Well done, please keep posting, you inspire other women to be great.

Sounds like someone who has not met the huntress. She may seem great but rumor has it she is abusive to cats and waitresses...
